- Children should identify Amos as a shepherd from the land of Judah.
- Children should be able to tell of his message to the people of Israel.

Home Activities:
- Yes, you can celebrate Hanukkah at home even in June.
- Make potato latkes (pancakes, available in the Jewish section in the supermarket, instant!)
- Light your candles.
- Puzzle and coloring sheet.
- Play with the dreidl you made in class (older classes). Have fun!
Prayer: May the Light of the World bring light into our lives as He did at Hanukkah.

- Tell the story of Adam and Eve from the Beginner’s Bible, pages 14-25, or the Children’s Bible Reader, pp.21-22.

- Children should be able to tell the story of Noah and the ark.
- Children should identify the Great Flood and its significance.
- Children should know God’s meaning for a rainbow.
