- Practice with your child the Sign of the Cross.
- Practice “Before Thy Cross” song, with prostrations.
- Be sure that he wears his cross each Sunday.
- Show your child the cross in your home. Let him choose or make one for his room.
- Plant basil in a pot; tend for use on the feast of the Elevation.
- Older children – Can you put the events in order?.
- Read the story at bedtime each night.
